Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and durability by using a disazo pigment having a triazole ring. CONSTITUTION:This receptor contains a disazo pigment represented by the general formula (where A1 and A2 are identical with or different from each other, each of them is H, halogen, lower alkyl, alkoxy, nitro or acylamino, B is an aromatic coupler, D1 and D2 are identical with or different from each other, and each of them is 1-8C alkyl). In order to enhance the transferring efficiency of a charge carrier produced when the disazo pigment absorbs light, a layer prepared by dispersing the pigment in a charge transferring medium is laid on an electrically conductive layer, a charge generating layer contg. the org. pigment and a charge transferring layer are formed on an electrically conductive layer, or the org. pigmemt is added to a charge shifting complex are preferred. The preferred coupler B is a naphthol deriv.
