Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor which is highly sensitive and durable and solves problems in heat resistance, moisture resistance, photofading resistance, pullution, etc. by contg. a specific disazo type pigment having an oxadiazole ring in a photosensitive layer, particularly, in the electric charge generating layer of double photosensitive layers. CONSTITUTION:The double photosensitive layers contg. the photosensitive layer contg. the pigment expressed by the formula I [A is H, halogen, lower alyl, alkoxy, NO2, acylamino, B is an aromatic coupler expressed by the formulas II-IV, where X is a residual group forming naphthalene, anthracene, carbazole, dibenzofuran rings by condensating with a benzene ring, Y is -CONR1R2, [R1 is H, (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) phenyl, R2 is (substituted) alkyl, phenyl, and naphthyl] and R3 is (substituted) alkyl and phenyl] particularly in an electric charge transport layer are formed on a substrate.
