Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce cost of an emission controlling apparatus and simplify said apparatus by providing a three-way electromagnetic valve so that an evaporated fuel receiving system and throttle opener system can be controlled by only one electromagnetic valve.
CONSTITUTION: An emission controlling apparatus 6 comprises a solenoid 23, a valve body 25 having a movable iron core 24 inside the solenoid 23, etc. The solenoid 23 is provided with a three-way electromagnetic valve 22 connected to a vehicle speed detecting switch 28 closed for sending current from a power source 27 to the solenoid 23 when the vehicle speed reaches 25km/h or more for example. Thus, referring to operation in which the vehicle speed reaches 20km/h or more for example, the switch 28 is closed to energize the solenoid 23 so that the movable iron core 24 is attracted by the solenoid 23 and the valve body 25 opens a communicating port 20 while opening a communicating port 21. And as intake negative pressure increases, a check valve 16 opens a negative pressure introducing port 17 so that large intake negative pressure is introduced into a pressure receiving chamber 442 of a change-over valve 36 at a vaporized fuel receiving system 9 side. On the other hand, that negative pressure is also introduced into a pressure receiving chamber 551 of a throttle opener controlling valve 10 through the communicating port 20, pneumatic pressure chamber 19, communicating path 29 and pipe path 8.
