Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a structure surrounding a carburetor and reduce the generation of harmful exhaust components by operating simultaneously a means for opening a little the throttle valve of the carburetor and a means for intercepting the supply of fuel from a fuel system at the time of speed reduction of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: The carburetor 1 comprises a fuel path 10 communicating a float chamber 4 with a main nozzle 3 and a slow nozzle 5, a throttle valve 9, etc. In the fuel path 10, a valve 17 intercepting the supply of fuel to the main and slow systems, and further the throttle valve 9 is provided with a solenoid valve, which enables forced opening of the throttle valve 9. At the time of speed reduction of the engine, the intercepting valve 17 and the solenoid valve are operated simultaneously, intercepting the fuel and opening the throttle valve 9 slightly.
