CONSTITUTION:Electric discharge is made to arise between an electrode 1 and a specimen 2 while the steel specimen 2 is being moved on a specimen placing plate 3a, and the light of initial discharge spark is led to a spectroscope through a condenser lens 5. This method enables to analyze inclusions in the steel 2 continuously and quickly.
