Abstract
PURPOSE:To make uniform the fluorescence intensity of each of sections of a powder specimen and raise accuracy of analysis by forming a thin layer of a powder specimen on the filter surface. CONSTITUTION:A powder specimen 1 is dispersed in a solvent 2 and accumulated on the surface of a filter 6. When the speciment 1 accumulates, it forms a layer of uniform thickness on the filter 6, and it is removed with the filter 6 to be analysed by a fluorescent X-ray analyser. A sought substance is detected by existence of fluorescent emission developed by subjecting the specimen 1 to X-ray and quantitatively analysed by the measurement of fluorescence intensity.
