Abstract
PURPOSE: To continuously cast steel of less nonmetallic inclusions by immersing a tubular body made of refractories provided with a molten metal discharge port freely removably into a tundish and teeming the molten sttel in a ladle through said tubular body.
CONSTITUTION: The molten metal teeming flow from a ladle 1 is sealed by gaseous Ar 31 for sealing the teeming flow ejecting from an Ar destributing pipe 30 for sealing the teeming flow, and enters the inside of a tundish 10 smoothly without being stagnated in a pipe 27 made of refractories. At this time, the inclusions such as slag 23 striken by the molten steel flow is discharged upward from the discharge hole 28 of the pipe 27 and the inclusion of the floating slag 23 into the mold is extremely less.
