Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a fuel cost in the range of a common engine drive, by introducing in this drive through both a surge tank and a throttle mechanism into a float chamber a crank chamber negative pressure whose pulsation is damped.
CONSTITUTION: One end portion of a negative pressure passage 13 having a surge tank 21 is opened within a crank case 11, while its other end is opened to an opening and closing means 14 which is installed on a throttle valve 10 rotating a throttle valve 9. The opening and closing means 14 is allowed to communicate through a throttle 20 with an air vent 16 by rotation of the shaft 10. The air vent is also allowed to communicate with the air, while its other end is opened to the upper space in a float chamber 4. Then the float chamber 4 may be caused to communicate with the negative pressure passage 13 only at the opening of the throttle shaft 10 in a common engine drive.
