Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration and the like of a collecting device by preventing the fuel in a fuel tank from flowing out into an evaporated fuel collecting device at a time when the motor-bicycle is inclined or turns sideways.
CONSTITUTION: The upper space of the fuel tank 13 is communicated with a crank case 11 through the intermediary of an overflow passage P1, while the case 11 is communicated with an air cleaner 15 and a canister 12 through the intermediary of a three-way solenoid valve 17. At the time of the stoppage of an engine, the upper space of the tank is communicated with the canister 12 through the intermediary of the case 11. The collected fuel in the canister 12 is sucked to an intake passage P5 through the intermediary of a purge passage P4 at the time of the operation of the engine. The overflow passage P1 is provided with a power sensing valve 20 intercepting the fuel when the vehicle is inclined, etc., whereby the outflow of fuel is prevented. Moreover, at the top part of the tank 13, a relief valve 30 which is opened when the vapor pressure in the upper space exceeds a prescribed level is arranged.
