Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the space around the engine by forming a concave portion in the bottom of a motorcycle fuel tank and installing an air cleaner in said concave portion with a gap.
CONSTITUTION: A concave portion R is formed at the bottom of a fuel tank 20, and a chamber box 42 is installed in said concave portion R with a gap P. A suction port 42b is formed on the top of the box 42 with a cleaner element 43 installed therein. A vertical suction air tube 34 connected to an engine which is not illustrated in the figure is extended into the box 42. The gap P is used as a suction air intake passage.
