Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a fuel cost in the range of a common engine drive, by introducing a crank chamber negative pressure into a float chamber in this drive.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a negative pressure passage 13 is opened below the face 12 of lubricating oil in a crank case 11. A throttle valve 9 is installed within an intake passage 2, while its throttle shaft 10 is provided with an opening/closing means 14. And, the other end of the netative pressure passage 13 is opened to the opening/closing means 14, which is allowed to communicate through an air vent 16 with the upper space in a float chamber 4. The air vent 16, which is also allowed to communicate with the air, may cause the float chamber 4 to communicate with the negative pressure passage 13 only at the opening of the throttle shaft 10 in a common engine drive.
