Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover a phosphorus component of the salting out solid substance in the preparation of phosphoric acid without causing morphological change, by diluting a slurry consisting of a solid substance separating out from a concentrated solution of phosphoric acid and the concentrated solution of phosphoric acid with water so that phosphorus ore is dissolved, separating the precipitate from the slurry.
CONSTITUTION: In recovering a phosphorus component from a solid substance separating out from a concentrated solution of phosphoric acid prepared by a wet method, first a slurry consisting of the solid substance and the concentrated solution of phosphoric acid is diluted with water so that the concentration of phosphoric acid of the slurry is made ≤30wt% calculated as P2O5. Phosphorus ore is dissolved in the prepared diluted slurry at 50W95°C, and the resulting precipitates of phosphates of Fe, Al, and Mg and gypsium are separated and removed to recover the phosphorus component. The reason why the slurry is diluted to the concentration of phosphoric acid ≤30wt% is that an ion as much as possible of phosphoric acid attached to metal ions is separated from the metal ions.
