Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor superior in sensitivity and characteritics durable against repeated uses, by adding a specified hydrazone compound represented by the general formula to a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by the general formula shown on the right is contained in a photosensitive layer. In the formula, R1, R2 are H, halogen, optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy or aryloxy, or substituted amino, and at least one of them is substituted amino or alkoxy; R3, R4 are optionally substituted alkyl or aryl, and at least one of them is optionally substituted aryl, and further, they may complete a heterocyclic ring containing N; R5, R6 are H, halogen, optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy or aryloxy, or substituted amino; and n is 0 or 1.
