Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor not causing increase of light potential and decay of dark potential even after repeated exposures and chargings, and having superior durability, by adding a specified hydrazone compound to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer formed on a charge generating layer such as an amorphous silicon layer contains together with 100pts.wt. binder, 100-500pts.wt. hydrazone compound represented by the formula in which Z is an atomic group necessary to form a thiazoline, imidazoline, oxazoline, thiazole, imidazole, benzothiazole, naphthothiazole, pyrimidine ring or the like, optionally substituted by halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, amino, carbamoyl, or the like; R1, R2 are optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; and n is 1 or 2. Accordingly, the obtained photoreceptor is enhanced in sensitivity and durability characteristics against repeated uses.
