Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and durability by using a specified hydrazone compound as an electric charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is provided with a layer containing one of the hydrazone compounds represented by formula I in which R1 is H atom, optionally substituted alkyl group, such as methyl, ethyl, or the like; each of R2 and R3 is optionally substituted alkyl group, such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, or butyl, or optionally substituted aryl group, such as phenyl or biphenyl, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to obtain superior sensitivity characteristics and to be improved in variances of potentials in the light and in the dark at the time of repeated cycles of charging and exposure.
