Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a recording of a high quality with a unform density by controlling energy of recording pulses according to the results of previous recordings on a heat generating body of a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:Once an ink layer 7 on an ink roller 1 as flatted with a correction roller 2 is solidified, it is selectively melted according to image signals with a thermal head 8 and transferred ont a recording paper 9 to form an image (numeral 16 indicates a recording pulse control section). In said apparatus, recording information in the past (e.g. upto two previous cycles) of a heat generating body of the thermal head (H1 and H2 present the history of recording one cycle and two cycles before and R and L histories adjacent right or left one cycle before with respect to a dot P) is memorized.
