Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a recording of a high quality with uniform density by controlling energy of recording pulses according to the previous results of a heat generating body of a thermal head and the temperature of a thermal head and an ink roller. CONSTITUTION:Once an ink layer 7 on an ink roller 1 is solidified as flattened with a correction roller 2, it is selectively melted with a thermal head 8 according to image signals and transferred onto a recording paper 9 to form an image (numeral 16 indicates a recording pulse control section). In said apparatus, the previous results of the thermal head heat generating body in the past (e.g. upto two previous cycles is memorized.
