Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a recording of a high quality with uniform density by controlling energy of recording pulses according to the previous results of a heat generating body of a thermal head and the temperature of a thermal head and an ink roller. CONSTITUTION:Once an ink layer 7 on an ink roller 1 is solidified as flattened with a correction roller 2, it is selectively melted with a thermal head 8 according to image signals and transferred onto a recording paper 9 to form an image (numeral 16 indicates a recording pulse control section). In said apparatus, the previous results of the thermal head heat generating body in the past (e.g. upto two previous cycles is memorized. Then, the total of a specific value of correction based on said recording information and a value of correction based on a temperature signal of the thermal head and the ink roller are subtracted from recording pulse widths before the correction and the recording pulses with the width obtained are used to display dots.
