CONSTITUTION:A positive image 16 is formed on a selenium photoconductive receptor by the normal process, and after uniform destaticization by positive discharge and light illumination, the receptor is subjected to positive uniform secondary charging with a corona discharger 19. The receptor is exposed to a light projected through a negative original 02 having a nonimage part 21 and an image part 20 to destaticize the part of the receptor corresponding to the image part 20. This part is reversely developed with a toner 23 using an electrode plate 22 to form a positive image 23. If norma development is executed at that time, a negative image is obtained. A positive image may be formed by using a positive original and a normal developing method. Alternatively, after the uniform charging, the toner image is cleaned, and then, the receptor is exposed imagewise, and after that, all the latent image are developed at the same time.
