Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the vapor generation quantity in the vessel to improve water production efficiency, by immersing a part of the wick material in raw water.
CONSTITUTION: Raw water is supplied from the supply tube into vessel 5 to hold always a fixed level of the water quantity, and raw water 6 is sucked by wick material 9 due to the capillary phenomenon. Under this state, the vessel is exposed to solar heat to evaporate raw water 6 stored in vessel 5 and raw water sucked to wick material 9. Next, generated vapor is stuck to inside wall face 7A of cover 7 and is cooled by outside air and is condensed. Then, condensed water is flowed downward along cover inside wall face 7A and is received by water receiving trough 8. Further, water received by water receiving trough 8 is carried to the use equipment through the water gathering pipe.
