Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve performance, by disposing a suction riser and a penstock into a heat accumulator.
CONSTITUTION: A suction riser 3, which upper end is located at portions upper than an upper end of a collector 1 and which is opened to an upper portion under the surface of the water in a heat accumulator 2, is disposed into the heat accumulator 2, and a suction pipe 5 is connected to the lower end while a cylindrical penstock 4 is arranged around the riser so that the upper end be opened at portions upper than the surface of the water in the heat accumulator 2 and the lower end keep a space that water passes between the lower end and a base of the heat accumulator 2. Thus, water at a bottom of the heat accumulator 2 flows to the collector 1 through the penstock 4, the suction riser 3 and the suction pipe 5, is heated by the reception of solar heat and flows into an upper portion of the heat accumulator 2 when heat is collected, and reverse circulation is first generated, but the reverse circulation shortly stops because the upper end of the suction riser 3 is located at portions upper than the upper end of the collector 1 and radiation in the heat accumulator 2 is prevented when heat is radiated from the collector 1 at night, etc.
