Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the circulation force and to enhance the efficiency by connecting a water drop pipe to the bottom of a collector body having water heating paths in parallel with a clearance provided at the side end of the body.
CONSTITUTION: A water drop tube 1 is provide in a solid and successive manner at one side end bottom of a collector body 2 which has water heating paths partitioned with ribs 6 in parallel at the center thereof with a clearance left from the body 2. As a low temperature water flowing into the bottom of the body 2 from the water drop tube 1 is distributed to the water heating paths 3 and reduces in the specific gravity receiving solar heat, it rises due to a natural convection and returns to a hot water storage tank (no illustrated) from a pumping tube 5. The heat transfer to the water drop tube 1 from the body decreases 2 thereby increasing the natural circulation force with a greater difference in water between the body 2 and the tube 1.
