Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the heat radiation of stored hot water and enhance the heat collecting efficiency by a method wherein the hot water storage tank is made of double tube type structure.
CONSTITUTION: The hot water heated by the solar heat collected with a collector is led from a inlet port 3 in an inner tank 1 to till the inner tank first of all and, after that, flows out from an exit pipe 5 open at the bottom of the inner tank 1 to fill an outer tank 2 and finally exits from an outlet port 6 provided at the bottom of the outer tank 2. At that time, the high temperature water in any of the both inner and outer tanks 1 and 2 is accumulated in the upper part of every tank. In such a manner as described above, the hot water is circulated between the collector and the storage tank to become hotter and hotter. During the process of the water becoming hotter, the hot water, the temperature of which is the lowest in the inner and outer tanks, enters in the collector and is heated by means of the collector and then enters in the upper part of the inner tank 1. Accordingly, because the most high temperature part of the hot water is stored in the inner tank 1, the heat radiation from the stored hot water is avoided with a small amount and the remarkably good heat collecting efficiency is resulted.
