Abstract
PURPOSE: To promote heating and temperature rise of hot water within a hot water storage tank by internally providing one end of a heat pipe in the downstream flow passage of low temperature water, and also internally providing the other end of the heat pipe in the bottom part of a hot water storage tank.
CONSTITUTION: One end part of a heat pipe 7 is internally provided over the full length of a descending flowpath 3, and other end part is internally provided at the bottom part of a hot water storage tank 2. When the sun radiates on a heat collecting plate 1, and heats the interior of the plate 1, hot water which is heated and whose temperature is raised, rises up along an ascending path 4 and enters in the hot water storage tank 2, and low-temperature water descends along the descending flowpath 3 and enters into the heat collecting plate 1, the above circulation being repeated. Heat within the descending flow path 3 obtained by sunshine is transferred and radiated in the hot water storage tank 2 constantly and rapidly by the heat pipe 7. Hence, the temperature gradient between hot water in the flowpath 3 and that in the flowpath 4 is sufficiently secured without increasing the temperature.
