Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable cost reduction and to facilitate adjustment by a method wherein by utilizing one counter, phase control of a polyphase inverter is performed. CONSTITUTION:An output voltage control signal put out from a voltage control signal amplifier 20 is inputted to an A/D converter 21 and is converted into digital codes. A frequency control signal is converted at a V/F converter 22 into pulses which are inputted on an up-counter 23. An output from a counter 22 is inputted to comparators 24, 25 as referencing inputs, and a coincidence output from the comparator 24, 25 is used as a phase control timing signal for logic circuits 26, 27. Outputs from logic circuits 26, 27 are used as shift pulses for ring counters 26, 27, and ring counters 29, 30 give digital output to a gate logic circuit 31. A gate timing signal of each phase is taken out from the gate logic circuit 31.
