Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an alloy with superior stress corrosion crack resistance for the electronic industry by adding a small amount of a specified element to an Fe-Ni- Co alloy.
CONSTITUTION: To an Fe-Ni-Co alloy contg. 25W35% Ni, 10W20% Co, <0.10% C, <0.03% N and <1.0% Mn is further added one or more among Mo, Si, Cr, Cu, V, Nb, Ta, Ti and Zr in the range of 0.01W2.0%. The resulting alloy has superior electrical conductivity and superior stress corrosion crack resistance as a seal bonding material or lead frame material for an integrated circuit in the electronic industry.
