CONSTITUTION:Fibers are inserted into a cap (a) made of a material of >= hardness 7 such as quartz, sapphire or the like and the end faces thereof are polished together with those of the fibers. This is passed in a bushing (b) made of the similar material and the polished faces are opposedly butted and press-bonded by way of the force that the belleville spring (e) of a holder (2) acts upon a socket (c).
