Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the continuous automatic operation for a long period, by specifying the absorbing solution.
CONSTITUTION: The water supply leading tube 13 is connected to the suction liquid intake 4b of the absorbing tube 4 via the liquid delivery pump 11, three-way cock 10, trap 9, and suction liquid tank 8, and the measuring unit 22 providing the chlorine ion electrode 20 and the comparison electrode 21 is connected to the outlet 4C of absorbing solution via the reaction tube 17, gas and liquid separator 18, and teflon coil 19. Further, the gas suction pump 32 is operated and the exhaust gas in the smoke chamber 1 is suctioned in the absorption tube 4 via the heating probe 2 and heating sampling tube 3, water supply from the water supply leading tube 13 is mixed as the absorption liquid to cause the specified reaction. After that, the mixture is fed to the measuring unit to measure the concentration of chlorine ion in it. Thus, since water supply is used, in which no pH buffer reagent and neutral salt are solved, the continuous automatic operation is made possible for a long period.
