Abstract
PURPOSE:To carry out a quick analysis treatment with a continuous operation, by separating a mixed solution of water to be inspected containing gaseous nitrogen monoxide and a reagent into gaseous nitrogen monoxide and a liquid phase by a partition wall continuously. CONSTITUTION:A fixed quantity of water to be inspected is flowed into a mixer 10 through a quantitative pump P1 and a pipe conduit 11 and also, a fixed quantity of a reagent reducing a nitrous acid ion NO2<-> and nitric acid ion NO3<-> to gaseous nitrogen monoxide, is flowed into the mixer 10 through a quantitative pump P2. A fixed quantity of mixed solution from the mixer 10 containing reduced gaseous nitrogen monoxide is flowed through a flow passage 15 of a gas- liquid separation means 2 through a pipe conduit 12. At this time, only gaseous nitrogen monoxide in the mixed solution is permeated from the passage 15 toward a flow passage 16 through a partition wall 13. The wall 13 is formed by dir- permeable porous hydrophobic materials. This gaseous nitrogen monoxide is introduced together with zero gas from a zero gas supply device 3 into a detection means 4 and is determined.
