CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of Cr-Mo steel hot molded product, composed of 0.15wt% or less C, 0.5wt% or less Si, 0.27-0.63wt% Mn, 0.035wt% or less p, 0.035wt% or less S, 1.88-2.62wt% Cr, 0.85-1.15wt% Mo, and the balance Fe, the said Cr-Mo steel material is heated to a temperature between the point of transformation of Ac3 and 950 deg.C, molded and processed in a temperature range lower than the transformation point Ar3 but higher than the point Bs, and then heated to a temperature higher than 500 deg.C but lower than the transformation point Ac1, followed by cooling.
