Abstract
PURPOSE:A high-ductile, high-tensile normalized steel plate with decreased rolling anisotropy is obtained by particularizing a ratio of chemical composition components, controlling a blooming roll finish temperature and a degree of process, and restricting a heating temperature in thick plate rolling. CONSTITUTION:For example, steel ingots are made from molten steel with C eq:0.48%, containing C:0.12%, Si:0.27%, Mn:0.82%, P:0,015%, S:0.005%, Cu:0.26%, Ni:0.91%, Cr:0.44%, Mo:0.42%, V:0.05%, sol Al:0.077%, B:0.0025% and N:0.0074%. The steel ingot is heated to 1,280 deg.C to be blooming rolled, pressure rolled 15% at a finishing temperature of 1,000 deg.C and gradually cooled at a rate of 150 deg.C/day. It is, then, heated to 1,080 deg.C to be rolled into a finished thickness of 50mm., heated for one hour at 930 deg.C, water quenched, heated for one hour at 635 deg.C and cooled to room temperature. This process improves impact strength in the roll direction from 9kg-m to 14kg-m and drastically decreases rolling anisotropy.
