Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve contact between a thermosensitive recording head and recording paper and ameliorate the efficiency of printing by forming a thermosensitively setting region thicker than regions except the thermosensitively setting region in the thickness of a heat accumulating layer of the head. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulating layer 12 of glazed glass is formed on a substrate 1 consisting of a thermally good conductor substrate in alumina, etc. according to a printing or application method. A lower section 12a to which a heat generation resistor 13 is made up is coated with a photoresist, etc., and another section is removed according to etching, and used as a removed layer 12b. Thickness to be removed according to etching shall be more than the thickness of an electrode 14 which will be built up afterward, and is formed according to oblique etching so as not to make up the cutting of a stage in the heat generation resistor 13.
