Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled stamp material, structure thereof is compact, the rate of void thereof is large and an ink absorbing property thereof is excellent, by a method wherein stamping section formed with the porous powder of a foamed gelator of PVC are thermally fused and attached to a base material, and a plasticizer is extracted by an organic solvent and removed.
CONSTITUTION: The porous powder 1 in 350 mesh particle size obtained by freezing and pulverizing the foamed gelator of PVC is filled in a concave section 2a of a character on a master mold 2, and preheated. A sheet or plate foamed gelator 3, quality thereof is the same as the foamed gelator 1, is stacked on the mold 2, pressed down by means of a heating plate 4 and pressed and heated. The porous powder 1 in the concave section of a character 2a is sintered while stamp section 5a formed by the porous powder are thermally fused and attached to the base material 3. A plasticizer is extracted by an organic solvent such as a mixed solvent of n-hexane and ethyl alcohol and removed, and a hard porous printing material 5 with an ink occulding section 5b and the stamp section 5a is obtained.
