Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a porous material for a stamp having excellent stamping characteristics having an ink occlusion unit made of an elastic porous material for maintaining elasticity at the sintering temperature of a thermoplastic resin powder. CONSTITUTION:A porous material for stamp 1 is constructed of a stamping unit 2, an ink occlusion unit 3 being thicker than the unit 2 in such a manner that the units 2 and 3 are thermally fusion-bonded without losing ink fluidity in the boundary between the units 2 and 3. The unit 2 is composed of a thin layer 2a and a type unit 2b projected from the layer 2a. The thermoplastic resin powder forming the unit 2 may have preferable sintering characteristics and small particle diameter, such as, concretely, a plasticized vinyl chloride series resin powder, thermoplastic urethane elastomer powder, etc. Since the pore diameters are reduced in the order of the unit 3, the layer 2a and the unit 2b, the ink can be smoothly moved.
