Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the accuracy of screen printing higher as well as shorten the time of switching for raising the operation rate of the screen printing by a method in which a printing mask is fixed to a prealignment frame and then the prealignment frame is fixed to the printing mask-fixing member of a printer body.
CONSTITUTION: After detecting the incoming of a glass base plate 1 by a photo sensor 4, a positioning base 3 is made slightly higher than the upside of a conveyer belt 2, and the glass base plate 1 pressed on the positioning pin 5 of the positioning base 3 by a pusher pin 6 is always adsorbed on a fixed position by vacuum. Then, the pusher 6 is set back and the positioning base 3 goes up further to lift the glass base plate 1 up to a printing position. A prealignment frame 8 to which a printing mask 7 is attached is fixed to the printing mask-fixing position 11 of a printer body, whereby permitting the glass base plate 1 to coincide with the relative position of the printing mask 7. Thus, printing operation can be started as soon as the prealignment frame 8 is attached.
