Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a paste to be filled with an even density irrespective of the thickness of a plate, by placing a base body over a filled layer of an even thickness which is made of the paste, before forming the second paste layer over the base body. CONSTITUTION:A paste 6 is applied to the upper surface of a filling belt 5 by means of the first filling machine 3 to make a filled layer of an even thickness (about half of a given thickness of a plate) to be formed over the belt 5. A filling base body 1 prepared by unifying a lead grid and a synthetic resin body, is placed on the filled layer. After that, the paste 6 is applied to the upper surface of the filling base body 1 by means of the second filling machine 4 to make another filled layer of a thickness (about half of the given thickness of the plate) to be formed over the body 1. After thus interposing the body 1 between the filled layers made of the paste 6, the paste 6 is pressed and fitted into the body 1 by means of a press roller 7.
