Abstract
PURPOSE:To lighten the weight of electrode plate as well as raise its mechnical strength and productivity by providing recessed portions in the surface of a base plate filled with a paste by a press working and then filling and fixing a synthetic resin in the recessed portions. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the base material 2, obtained by filling the paste 5 in the base plate 1 of a lead alloy is provided with recesses 3 in a mesh-shape by pressing a mold on the surface, and then a synthetic resin is flowed in the recesses 3 to form the synthetic resin-fixed portion 4.
