Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a discoid information carrier which is stable for a long period, by providing different organic material layers on two substrate surfaces, by bonding both the layers together after curing one organic material layer, and by forming a recording layer by removing the substrate of the cured layer side. CONSTITUTION:Over a substrate 3, the 1st layer of an organic material, such as polyvinyl butyral, is formed. On the other hand, the 2nd organic material layer 6 of ultraviolet-ray curing acrylic resin, etc., is formed on a stamper 5 whose surface is roughened, and then this organic material layer 6 is cured with light. Next, both the organic material surfaces are bonded together. In another way, the 2nd organic material layer is cured after bonding. The stamper 5 is removed and on the 2nd organic material layer 6, a prescribed recording film is formed by vapor deposition, etc. In this method, an information carrier which is stable for a long period is obtained with high reproductivity.
