Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain with a low cost an optical information recording medium which is free from uneven thickness and excellent in smoothness, by performing an exposure treatment while pressing a retainer plate relatively toward a stamper and then curing light curing resin laminated via a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A metallic stamper 20 has an uneven surface corresponding to the unevenness of an information recording surface. A substrate 40 such as an acrylic resin plate, that has the light-transmittable properties to a readout laser beam 3 as well as to the light such as the ultraviolet rays which is used for exposure and curing to the 1st light curing resin layer 31 is put on the stamper 20 via the layer 31. Furthermore, a retainer plate 42 having a smooth surface 42a of a glass plate, etc. is put on the substrate 40 via the 2nd light curing resin layer 32 which can be cured in the same way by the light that gives a hardening process to the 1st resin material. Then both the plate 42 and the stamper 20 are pressed relatively. Under such conditions, the light given from a light source 43 to give an exposure to both layers 31 and 32 is irradiated from the side of the plate 42 to ensure a simultaneous exposure and curing of both layers 31 and 32.
