Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a disk record having an excellent antifogging property and wear resistance by forming a protective layer consisting of a resin mixture composed of a silicone compd. and vinyl compd. CONSTITUTION:For example, a transparent disk substrate 1 is molded of the vinyl chloride and the thickness thereof is about 1mm. A signal recording layer 2 is formed on one face of the disk substrate and a 2nd protective layer 4 which compares favorably in terms of the antifogging property and wear resistance with the stock of the substrate, i.e., vinyl chloride is formed on the other face of the disk substrate. The protective layer 4 is formed by mixing the rigid vinyl chloride at about 30% by weight with a soln. of resin-type silicone dissolved in an org. solvent and coating the soln. prepd. in such a manner to about 100mum layer thickness on the disk substrate. The hardness on the surface of the protective layer 4 is about 3H pencil hardness. Said protective layer has the antifogging property to the extent that the sticking of boiling steam to the protective layer is not admitted even if said layer is exposed to said steam.

たその防曇性はこの保護層を沸騰する水蒸気にあてがっ
てもその付着が認められないものであった。
