Abstract

PURPOSE: To maximize the volume of reflux especially in time of a medium load by a method wherein exhaust gas recycling control valve of an internal combustion engine is controlled by the suction negative pressures in the just upper stream of a throttle valve which is closed completely and in a suction manifold.
CONSTITUTION: Suction and exhaust manifolds 4, 6 of an internal combustion engine 1 are communicated with an exhaust gas loop 7 having an exhaust gas recycling control valve 8. In this diaphragm chamber 14 suction negative pressure is introduced into the just upper stream of a throttle valve 3 which is closed completely. And, a valve port 24 connected with the air is opened to a negative pressure conduit 17 and controlled by a negative pressure regulating valve 19. The 1st diaphragm chamber 21 of the regulating valve communicates with a pressure chamber 27 provided on the upper stream side of a loop 7, the 2nd diaphragm chamber 22 communicates with the upper stream side of the throttle valve 3 and the throttle valve is driven by the differential pressure. Further, an opening control valve 32 is fitted so as to control an orifice 26b.
