Abstract

PURPOSE: To feed a proper amount of air to a rotary engine by arranging an air introducing port and a negative pressure taking-out port on the rotary engine, and installing an air controlling valve on the upper stream of the negative pressure port and increasing the turning of the valve from low speed to high speed.
CONSTITUTION: In a rotary housing 10 in which a rotor 20 in regular triarcuate form is stored, an air introducing port is formed which is not shown in the figure and communicates with the air introducing pipes 41 and 43, at the top end of which an air cleaner 40 is arranged, and through said port, air is introduced into a combustion chamber 26 in the latter half of intake stroke. In the combustion chamber 26, a negative pressure taking-out port 15 is formed which is opened and closed by the rotor 20, and a negative pressure pipe 37 which communicates to the port 15 communicates to the negative pressure chamber 41 of a diaphragm apparatus 31. On a diaphragm 33, a control valve 35 which controls the turning of an air introducing pipe 43 is arranged and allows the air amount introduced into the combustion chamber 26 to be varied according to the gas pressure in the combustion chamber 26.
