Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently take off energy from steam by cooling to liquefy the steam obtained at low position at high pressure and rendering the steam in wet steam state to take off the potential energy of the liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid preheated by a heater 17 is heated by the steam introduced through a steam control valve 25 via a heating evaporator 23 and thus carried through a gas and liquid mixer 58 and a lifting tube 28 to a high position. In this case, the preheated liquid by the heater 17 is partly fed through a branch tube 60 to the mixture 58 in sprayed particle state. Thus, the moistened steam is introduced into a cooler 31 at high position and cooled and liquefied to be lowered at its steam pressure. According to this method, the total liquefied amount can be increased without increasing the cooling heat required for cooling and liquefying at the high position to thereby enhance the entire efficiency of the sealed circulating device from a liquid tank 37 through a downward tube 42, a generating turbine 1 and a liquid tank 5 to te heater 17.
