Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat exchanger for recovering wasted heat simple to be maintained and served, nevertheless, capable of being made at low cost by equipping with heat pipes, having same kind of solutions of different densities a operating fluids respectively, for respective groups.
CONSTITUTION: An inducing pipe-way 4 for an exhaust gas and air is devided into upper-and-lower portions and the upper portion is used for a passage 4a for the air (heated side) while the lower portion is used for a passage 4b for the exhaust gas (heating side). A same quality of an operating fluid, for example, a solution of easily soluble non-volatile substance such as lithium bromide, is used as the operating fluids 5a, 6a for heat pipe groups 5, 6 for high and low temperature portions respectively, and the boiling points of respective operating fluids 5a, 6a are made to be different by differing the density of lithium bromide in water for each operating fluids 5a, 6a. According to this method, it is not necessary to prepare specially different substances (heat mediums) having different boiling points for achieving an expected purpose.
