Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the desired state of combustion by adjusting the flow rate of air according to the control equation allowed for a corrective item based on the deviation between the concentration of NOX in the exhaust gas and the target concentration thereof in controlling the combustion condition in accordance with the flow rate of air for combustion. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate of a fuel injection burner 2 in a combustion furnace 1 is regulated controlling a fuel flow adjusting valve 6 with the signal from a furnace temperature indication adjustment meter 12 based on a deviation valve DELTAT between the measured furnace temperature T with a thermocouple 11 and the preset target temperature T'. A deviation DELTAN is determined between the measured, converted concentration N of NOX and the target converted concentration N of NOX preset with an NOX concentration indication adjustment meter 21, and inputted into an automatic ratio varying device 23 through a ratio setting device 22. At this point, based on the output of a fuel flow transmitter 5, a combustion air flow control signal (aF+b) is added and thus, an air flow indication adjustor 15 is controlled with the target flow signal of the combustion air.
