Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the pattern which does not produce any cracking to be obtained with good efficiency by depositing ceramic reinforcing materials between or the outside of multilayers of refractory layers on the surface of the extinction pattern.
CONSTITUTION: After the slurry 3 of high tack strength is coated on the surface of a extinction pattern 1, granular refractories 4 are sprinkled before this slurry 3 dries. Next, this is dried, after which fiberous or mesh-form ceramic reinforcing materials 5 are deposited in sandwich form through the slurry 3. Thence, the shell layer wherein the slurry 3 and granular refractories 4 are deposited alternately 4W6 layers is constituted. Or, the slurry 3 and granular refractories 4 are deposited in 4W6 layers on the surface of the extinction pattern 1, after which the ceramic reinforcing materials 5 are deposited partly or over the entire part in the similar manner as above and are then dried.
