Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the exhaust gas reflux device by making the axis, which connects the compressor with the turbine, hollow and by flowing back the exhaust gas through the hollow axis in the engine equipped with a supercharger.
CONSTITUTION: In the supercharger 4 that consists of the turbine 5 and the compressor 6, the turbine 5 is communicated to the engine not shown in Figure through the exhaust passage 14, exhaust gas is discharged to the air through the passage 13. Also the compressor 6 is communicated to the air cleaner not shown in Figure through the passage 11, compressed air is fed to the engine through the suction passage 10. A lubricating oil passage 25 is provided on the outer circumference of axis 15 of the supercharger 4, the axis is made hollow, and its opening ends are communicated to the suction and exhaust passages 11, 13. The opening end 20 of suction passage 11 is made a multiplicity of openings 19 perpendicular to the suction flow, the exhaust gas flows to the suction system smoothly by the negative pressure at the openings 19.
