Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to automatically cast homogeneous antimony metal without depending on skill, by moving the metallic mold by means of the manipulator and automatically controlling the molten metal degree management of the heating furnace and the molten metal, molten metal pouring and cooling.
CONSTITUTION: The metallic mold M is fixed to the fittings 10 of the manipulator 5, and the metallic mold M is suspended from the suspender 8 of the heating furnace 7. The control device 6 judges the heating time by the position of the notch part which has been molded in the fittings 10. After heating has been finished, the molten metal is poured by taking out the metallic mold M by means of the manipulator 5 and moving it to under the ejecting nozzle 17 of the molten metal pouring device 3. In this case, molten metal pouring time, ejecting pressure of molten metal pouring, cooling speed and cooling time are selected by the position of the notch part of the fittings 10. Cooling is started by opening the electromagnetic valve 21 by the selected time, pouring the molten metal, raising the cooling tank 22 at the selected speed, and putting the metallic mold M into water. After cooling has been continued by the selected time, the cooling tank 22 is lowered. Subsequently, the metallic mold M is moved to the work table by means of the manipulator 5.
