Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform power generation with high efficiency by rising the temperature of the main steam in steam plant and by lowering the temperature of gas at the inlet of regenerator by providing a waste heat recoverer to the frontal flow side of regenerator and also a waste heat recovery boiler to the rear flow side.
CONSTITUTION: The air 1 is risen its pressure by the compressor 2, risen its temperature by the regenerator 8, and then introduced into the combustor 3 in which a high-temperature gas is evolved to give a power to the gas turbine 5 by which the compressor 2 and the generator 6 are driven. The high-temperature gas coming out of the gas turbine 5 passes through the superheater 13, preheats steam generated in the waste heat recovery boiler 9, and then preheats air at the regenerator 8. Then, the waste gas coming out of the regenerator 8 passes through the waste heat recovery boiler 9, heats supply water, and generates steam. The overheated steam coming out of the superheater 13 is introduced into the steam turbine 11 to effect power generation. Thus, the installation of the superheater enables the temperature of the main steam to be raised.
