Only in case the signal applied to terminals 1...1'' is ''1'' and the signal applied to input terminal 3 is ''1'', the output signal of output terminals 2...2'' becomes ''0'' and ''1'' in other cases. The current flowing to terminal resistances 12...12'' increases in case output current 2...2'' is ''0'' and decreases in the case of ''1'' each. Thus the power consumed at resistances 12...12'' can be reduced.
