Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum duty factor of the drive waveform by securing the variable collector resistance for the emitter earthed transistor circuit at the input stage of I<2>L. CONSTITUTION:The output end of oscillator 31 is connected to the base of emitter earthed drive transistor 32; and the collector of transistor 32 is connected via variable resistance 35 to the base of input end QS of I<2>L34 featuring the composite structure comprising power circuit 36, lateral PNP transistor Q1 and reverse-type longitudinal NPN transistor QS. And the time required for charging of transistor QS to its base-emitter capacity C by varying resistance 35. As a result, the ratio between the ON and OFF periods, i.e., the duty factor can be changed for QS, and thus the optimum duty factor of the drive waveform can be obtained for I<2>L through adjustment of resistance 35.
